This year it has been somewhat harder to source our Granite as 95% of it comes from India and China. Between the dreaded COVID and the container taking longer to come over due to The Evergreen Ship blocking the canal for so long it had a knock-on effect at the Ports at Felixstowe and London Gateway which ricocheted down the line to our customers – it was completely out of our control. On a brighter note, we have taken delivery of a full 20-tonne container from India full of beautiful bespoke granite memorials and are expecting another one in August. We are now well on our way to having a once again fully stocked and vast range of Memorials to choose from.

A year ago, we installed a brand new Vanvoorden Jenny Lind polishing machine with a £2500 upgraded polishing head which we have found invaluable giving a self-sufficient flawless polish on any colour of Granite or Stone. The polish has a lifetime guarantee thanks to its modern diamond segment polishing head which is passed onto you the consumer. The Polishing machines are scarce in the Northeast of Scotland. We welcome our Trade Customers to take advantage of our 24hr turn around refacing service. We also welcome the general public, if they are not happy with the existing inscription, spelling mistakes, designs, or general layout of a memorial, we can re-polish this too.
